Linnea's life

I thought it may be helpful (as even I have gotten confused) to give you a better glimpse into Linnea's life from a timeline standpoint. She has seen much change and experienced a lot in her two years of life, more than many two year olds. We are so thankful she is coming to live with us!!!

Below is a timeline and also some pictures (the pictures may not the best quality as I took pictures of the photo book pictures we were given on gotcha day)

• Born on October 5, 2009 (this is her BDAY as listed but is an estimated date)
• She lived with someone (assuming her birth mom or grandparent) for 8 months until being abandoned (or as we are going to call it, "delivered to safety" as many mothers risk much by leaving their babies. We feel she was left b/c the mother or caretaker knew she needed medical help and maybe could not afford to provide that for her)
• Upon being found, she was brought to a nearby orphanage (Maoming orphanage, Maoming City) on June 4, 2010

Maoming Orphanage

• She lived at the Maoming orphanage for 3 months and was taken to True Children's Home in Dongguan (about five hours from the Maoming orphanage) on September 9, 2010
• She had surgery on September 17, 2010 while at True Children's Home

• She spent 8 months at True Children's Home

• She transitioned to a Foster Family (under the direction of True Children's Home) on May 13, 2011. 
• She spent 10 months in the care of the Foster Family

• Adopted on March 19, 2012
