Before the police station we visited a local Toys R Us. Lots of fun exploring there. The two things Linnea reached out for were not toys. Actually it was a child's plastic eating fork/spoon set and a sippy cup! You can tell that eating is important to her.
Today we visited the Botanical Gardens and walked around. After that we visited Trust Mart (Wal-Mart) and purchased diapers for the Moaming orphanage we are visiting tomorrow. It is customary to ask the orphanage you are visiting what they may need and for Maoming the request was diapers.
Linnea is resting now. She is such a good sleeper! We are taking it easy today and getting ready for tomorrow as we have to leave the hotel at 6:30am for the 4 hour drive to the Maoming Orphanage. We are looking forward to this day...visiting the place where Linnea was first brought after they found her and where she lived for three months of her life. We will also have the opportunity to visit the intersection where she was found. That last sentence was harder to type than I thought so this may be an emotional day tomorrow. The thoughts of our little daughter lying in a box wrapped up in a towel on the side of the road...but God had a plan for her.

What beautiful people and scenery! Love the playing pictures and your daughter's sweet smile! Will be thinking of the visits you take to visit the place where she was found by Humans but never lost by her creator! Praise Him for your willingness to adopt! Love you all! LPH
linnea is just ADORABLE...i love her sweet innocent smile...praying that your heart will be filled with God's grace & mercy as you see linnea's finding place....hard one for every parent to see....my heart breaks daily for the birth mother's of our daughters and every orphaned chinese daughter....i can't image the sacrifice they made to find a better life for the sweet little girls they birthed. God bless them ALL
