David and I went on a date tonight. Before we left I put the kids to bed in their own beds - we came home to this! Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified." I Corinthians 9:24-27

Pruiksma's Progress
Just perservering in the progression of life only by the grace of God. When my race is done - I want to have finished well all for the glory of God.
We are the Pruiksma’s! Thankful for God’s grace and sovereignty in our lives!! I have been married to my fabulous husband David for 6 years!! He is a business consultant for Chick-fil-A so "Eat mor chikin!" I am blessed to be a stay at home wife and mom and to my handsome boys Nathanael Allen and Luke Samuel and Ethan James. I love my life. I enjoy being with the church, knowing my Savior more, spending time with family and friends, listening to music. I am so thankful for God’s goodness!! Scriptures say there is a season for everything. Not only for weather but our lives as well. In this season of life I am busy but when I am not I like to sew, I love running whilst listening to my ipod! NYC is my absolute favorite city in the USA. And I really enjoy reading!! I wish I had more time for it - or that I could be one of those people who can read several books at a time! I love the Lord and I AM TRULY BLESSED! My boys (yes all of them David included) are the best and I try to blog about them often so if you want to read up on our latest adventures check our site often! “A glad heart makes a cheerful face…” Prov. 15:13a
"God is not an impersonal thing nor a static thing - not even just one person - but a dynamic pulsating activity, a life, a kind of drama...a kind of dance...And the pattern of this three personal life is ...the great fountain of energy and beauty spurting up at the very center of reality." - C.S. Lewis
A good definition for Fearing the Lord is being in complete awe of His character."
"I believe in Christianity as I belive the sun has risen; not because I see it, but because by it I see everything else." --C.S. Lewis
